A belated holiday greeting

Merry Christmas everyone. I've been remiss on updating the blog but will resolve to get back in gear in the New Year!

RoboWendy Stubbs Fest

Had a great time at Stubbs Fest, as usual with the expected late-night frivolity and holiday cheer. Although THIS year featured the new twist of SNOW BOCCE, which Matt & I dominated (as is our way) going an unheard of 4-0. Breakfast the next morning featured Steve M. cooking bacon and pancakes plus mimosas featuring the illustrious champagne, "Chateau Frank."

Jerry Lee Santa

A robotic Santa dances to Jerry Lee Lewis' "Be-Bop-A-Lula" at what is rapidly becoming my favorite NYC dive bar, The Patriot Saloon. Oh Patriot... Is there anything you can't do?

Semester at Sea Mini Reunion

Comp, Meeks and Brandon came in to town and we raged like we were back on the ship, partying like it was 1993. And we were in Istanbul.

Ms. Pac-Man indeed

Jimmy's Corner

After the NYPL party, met Marvelous Matt S. at the Algonquin and then we retired to Jimmy's Corner, one of the last great bars in Times Square - a boxing shrine. This is Jimmy, the owner.

Roy Blount Jr.

Roy Blount Jr. was the keynote speaker at the NYPL "Man on the Inside" party. Gave a very entertaining speech that included an anecdote from his new book "Feet on the Street: Rambles Around New Orleans."

"The Man on the Inside" Party

David threw a great party at the New York Public Library. He was even featured in The New York Times. A great evening, met some terrific writers.

Santa Arrives by Coast Guard Cutter

As part of the Christmas Stroll, Santa & Mrs. Claus arrive on Nantucket by Coast Guard cutter and are met at the dock by everyone and a sleigh, which takes them up Main Street.

Town Crier

The Town Crier rings his bell and leads everyone to the dock to meet Santa & Mrs. Claus.

Happy Stroll!

Ringing in the holiday season with Christmas music, a mimosa and breakfast at Arno's.
