Since I saw him live..... my junior (?) year of college. Hugh Masekela has mattered to me. This song.... "Ha Le Se (The Dowry Song) has been a song that has never - NEVER - failed to lift my spirits. Whenever I was down... Hugh bent my wings back enough to fly.
