A long walk around town, ending at the severely crowded Frying Pan. So relocated to the Chelsea Piers Brewery & sat out watching the boats before walking all the way home through a Chelsea street fair! Saw 2 celebrities during what was apparently a "GoodFellas" themed day. Saw Paul Sorvino at our 3rd avenue street fair & then Ray Liotta at Chelsea Piers.

Met him a couple times, with the airport and La Goulue standing out. Was one of those celebrities that didn't disappoint. Willing to shake hands & briefly chat and was just as nice as one would hope. And brave until the end.

I am so pleased I was able to see Les perform a couple years ago... Even in his 90's then, he could still lay it down. An innovator, an originator, and one hell of a musician. Heaven's gonna have one hell of a jam session tonight!

Filming a movie

Blocked 5th ave. Off.  I was walking down the street, post U. Club roast... When I stumbled upon a movie shoot.

Movie is a live-action version of "Fantasia."  Saw a truck drag Nicolas Cage down 5th avenue in reverse, in a Pinto.  Thrice.

Allegedly, and more importantly, the movie also features Monica Bellucci.  

It will be called "The Sorceror's Apprentice."  And has a $200mm budget.

JOAN WINS!

Wow... So well done... Joan won the Celebrity Apprentice & The Wyfe and I could not be happier. We were pulling for her all season and are so proud. The Wyfe was on the edge of the couch yelling at the TV, "Yay Joan! Yay Joan!"

Well done, sweetie... Good triumphed over evil and you have more energy at 75 than most teenagers.
