Baltimore Day

Matt & I went to Baltimore for a day this past weekend. Had a blast & packed a lot in! Including dinner with some great folks we don't see enough of...  Had the full-on crab / mallet / Old Bay experience.

Slipped out in the middle of the night as we had to return to NYC.  Left our host a note & an autographed crab mallet.  So long Baltimore...

The horse you came in on.  Where Edgar Allen Poe took his last drink before dying.  Great spot & very friendly bartenders who enjoyed our antics even letting me sing Skynyrd's "Simple Man" with the band & swap in my iPod.

Thanks to the ever-generous Cumby, I was able to see the guitar virtuoso Derek Trucks perform at a great music theater in NJ. A great show, a great BBQ dinner before hand and great company. Thanks again for the hospitality, Cumby!  (Photos courtesy of Stevie C.)

A friend of The Goose at the Adaptive Sports Foundation made this special beer for Grant.  Far too rare to drink we have placed the "ASF Ale - The Goose Limited Edition" up for display as the museum piece it is.

Recession Special Date Night

The Wyfe & I like to have a Date Night every few weeks. Due to the economic crisis, instead of our normal dinner at a new restaurant, we are on the couch, drinking (domestic) beer and just ordered a pizza.

Bill Does It Again!

The Wyfe's Uncle Bill has done it again! He has bowled his FOURTH perfect 300 game! Wow... Very impressive and huge congratulations. This earns him yet another entry in St. Louis' Bowling Hall of Fame. Congratulations.

As he wrote his brother (my father-in-law):

A great trip with great people. An epic day at Snowbird yesterday & another one at Brighton today. Everyone skied out of their heads and we all RIPPED "Hard Coin" at Brighton.
