Milo Z
had a great New York weekend. walked around enjoying the weather all over town. took baby aboard his first boat "The Frying Pan" where we had lunch, to his first art gallery opening, and then went to see Milo Z perform at Ulysses for the CD Release Party of his newest album - his 5th - called "Throwback." an awesome night & Milo asked me to MC for him and announce him onstage. an incredible honor... Milo was even nice enough to give me about 5 shout-outs from the stage as well, including getting the whole place to give me a round of applause for our new baby. and, after a long jam he said, "Now that was a jam! My friend Lee told me 'ain't no party without a jam!'" A great night & much love, Milo...

"The Sophisticats"
Tried out new costumes, to great acclaim. The Wyfe & I went to a "Halloween in March" party at the Wintergreen Club up in Windham as "The Sophisticats." She's "an Aristocat" and I was "a Dandy Lion." (WORDPLAY!)
Everyone loved our outfits & we even fooled friends who didn't recognize us. Including my mother-in-law who asked someone "Who's that? He looks FABULOUS!" "Your son-in-law." Awesome...

Baby Goes to Work
Leighton drops by Mommy's work & woos the ladies. Then we completed a 6+ mile walk around Manhattan in the sunny weather, with even perfect strangers coming up to us on the street to compliment us on Leighton!

My First World Record
Grant & I helped set a World Record last night for longest skiing torch parade. My 2nd attempt at a World Record but first successful one. I'm 1-1. We tried during Voodoo Fest in New Orleans for "Largest Assembly of Zombies" but came up shy. This time however we got it!
Grant & I went up & waited in the cold but we came down... legends.
Baby's First Apres-Ski
Sitting on a sunny deck after a cloudless day of spring skiing with a beer, The Wyfe & The Chyld, streaming WWOZ live New Orleans radio over my phone's speakers. Life is good.
