Chipmunk Safari

As a result of a massive chipmunk problem, my beloved father-in-law is slowly descending in to madness. He's becoming Carl the Groundskeeper - Bill Murray's character from "Caddyshack."

So he dusted off some 30+ year old pellet guns and we went to town. I had 5 confirmed kills, 2 suspected / wounded, and a few pelts as shown here.

(A word about gun safety... Despite appearances, Leighton's hand is nowhere near the actual barrel. Also, the gun is unloaded. And the safety is on. Always keep the safety on - release it to fire, and then immediately put the gun back on safe. We take gun safety very seriously in our household, what with "Two-Gun Charity out of Missoula" as matriarch and "Leighton, The Laredo Kid" as Number One Son.)

THE BLOG IS BACK!

Okay... My profound apologies. I have been ABSURDLY busy the last few weeks with work and haven't had time to update the blog. Very sorry and will endeavor to keep up with it more frequently. However, I have gone back and added more photos & events going back to last October, so feel free to peruse some of the older posts. Work, work, work

My recent whirlwind tour of the South has left a mountain of work to finish. Pretty jammed this week plus attended the (pretty good) BMO Capital Markets "Interactive Entertainment" conference yesterday. Will try to update the blog with Key West, New Orleans and Charleston recaps as soon as I can. Please be patient - working hard this week. (I'm looking at you, Grant...)
