A couple Semester at Sea grads produced a show for MTV called "Exiled" that took spoiled "Sweet 16"-ers and made them live in remote villages with indigenous peoples all over the world. Terrific idea, a little too pop-culture oriented for my taste but well-intentioned. The Wife & I met the President of Semester at Sea and other friends / alums for a screening party. Met some great people plus musical artists Wyclef Jean & Angelique Kidjo (!!!) also made appearances to discuss their involvement in Haiti & Africa respectively. We then repaired to TAO restaurant for an after-party on the VIP balcony, as the owner is also an SAS alum. A wonderful evening all around...
